Which Offers Heat And Warmth In Fire of the Ode clade is a member of the ninth stanza, focusing on oneirotecture, particularly as it relates to food. It presents as a rather small skunk, wiry and lithe, with an almost cartoony appearance. Ey is of indeterminate gender and unsettled pronouns, cycling through them throughout interactions. She is Motes's best friend and Rye's beloved up-tree.

Cladistics

Early in the System, there was an instance of Warmth In Fire who, so overcome with despair over her art, quit. When Dear began its work of forgetting the Name, it did so through an up-tree instance, with its down-tree remaining at home. When it returned and suggested that it had accomplished what it wished and that the down-tree could quit, they decided against such and instead took up the name Warmth In Fire. This presented a unique issue in the structure of the Ode, as it meant that a subsequent line was a down-tree of a preceding line.

Ey is the final line named in the Ode through the System's history.
