"Earthbound" by Kergiby tells the story of one half of a couple who has chosen not to upload. Jonathan's partner, Liam, uploaded in order to no longer deal with a terminal illness, as well as to help figure out how to deal with the ongoing climate crisis, but seems to have wandered off task. They maintain a habit of dates over AVEC, despite Jonathan feeling abandoned.
