Cladist

A "cladist" is an individual who lives on the System. They may be the original uploaded mind (called the "root instance") or they may be a fork (or a fork of a fork, or a fork of a fork of a fork...). As such, one may also see the terms "instance" or "fork" applied to an individual; these are subcategories of the general category "cladist".
