Religion on the System

Religion on the System proliferates as widely as it does phys-side. Given the general organization of society into groups surrounding interests, various religions tend to congregate, with the group identity growing stronger the more fervent the believers.

Many of these religions are those brought over from before the adherents' uploading, such as those of Quakers and Jews. However, some unique religions have formed, such as various fundamentalist religious groups like the various flashcults (religious groups that rise and fall in a matter of weeks or months), the Moon-Bright clade's Lagrange Life Church, or, after the publication of Sasha's Ode the various spiritual groups surrounding AwDae and eir role in the creation of the System, as well as the sense of em still existing within the world as felt by some.
