It is a quasi-governmental entity that acts as the System's presence within the United Nations, a corporate entity representing the business interests of matters relating to the System such as procurement and personnel, and the entity responsible for all work related to the physical aspects of the System such as Ansible clinics and stations housing System infrastructure.
