'''The Council of Ten''' is a group of ten individuals, two each from the five races present in Convergence, which acts as a mediating body for disputes between races.

A similar council is mirrored on Artemis. Prior to the convergence with humanity, the council on Artemis was known as the Council of Eight (not to be confused with [[The Council of Eight|the council]] from the early days of the System).
