'''Tomash''' is an anthropomorphic dog and a [[perisystem technician]]. He often works with the [[System Emergency Response Group]] to help people out, especially in cases where the mechanics and physics of the System have gotten them (or someone else) into a pickle they can't get themselves out of.

He has, after much practice, forked off a sub-clade, the [[Scout|Scouts]]. These are non-anthropomorphic dogs who settle around the System and keep an eye on things, while mainly just being dogs.

He appears in [https://post-self.ink/stories/coffee-leak/ "Coffee Leak"], where he helps someone new to the System who just wanted to reheat their coffee, in [https://post-self.dreamwidth.org/3289.html "Abandoned Highway"] where he has a road to straighten out, and in [https://archiveofourown.org/works/57201697 "Hunting Dogs"] where he sends someone on a quest.

He, through asking the Scouts fork back into versions of himself, appears in [https://archiveofourown.org/works/53807779 "Arise to Oath and Office"], which was used as promotional material for ''[[Marsh]]''.
