* As such, the scientists never really learned how it worked<br />
* After there were a few hundred to a thousand uploads and the text line was well established, it was revealed to the world as a challenge: we did this and we can prove it<br />
* In late 2115, Jonas Anderson, leader of a party in shadow government of the WF, was chosen+volunteered as first upload. He was provided with a secret to memorize so that he could prove it if the upload was successful — WF believed that this was essentially a big fake AI scam, but Jonas earnestly believed it<br />
* Flown to neutral ground (Antarctica?) to upload for proof of no tampering (first upload outside of Yakutsk, only used for political officials)<br />
* This was widely pulicized by the S-R Bloc, though less so in the WF<br />
* WF ate crow<br />
* Arguments continued about the ethics of S-R Bloc's technology (especially given the gruesome nature of uploading), but the desires of the people won out<br />
