MUCKs (Multi-User Construction Kits) are distinguished from other MU*s in that they enable ''all'' players to create new areas and objects as they please, and even to write interactive softcode to modify the presentation of these things. Many players just want to jump in with a character and a personal description and call it a day, however, and that is the main attraction of the MUCK, after all!
